I completely understand the frustration regarding Oasis’s team.
I have spoken to him, at length, about it. BigKing has spoken with him, as well. I have gotten and responded to texts from all of you regarding your concerns. I understand them.
But, just so all of you know that he and his family are going through very trying times presently. And by “trying,” I do mean VERY trying. I am not at liberty to say what it is, but all of you can best believe that he’s handling what’s truly important, and it isnt his fantasy football team at this moment. No don, he didnt quit the season, either.
Yeah, I get it… it’s like having a BYE week by playing him. Trust me when I tell all of you that he’s got bigger, more important issues to deal with. As a man, I applaud his ceaseless dedication to his family. Also, I appreciate all of your competitiveness, but try and remember that we all have times where we’re dealing with stress, sickness, etc. a lot more than others. It doesnt skip things because of fantasy football or anything else.
Give Oasis your good thoughts/or prayers please. Or dont, but at least try and understand that he is dealing and confronted with a lot right now, and he’s handling what’s truly important. If you want to blame somebody, then by all means - blame me. Or, by all means when next season comes, dont participate if it has you that upset.
On my word of honor - he’s OK and he’s very busy , stressed, and quite exhausted right now. I havent been given permission by him to elaborate, but I know that everybody here knows what he’s been through already. It’s been said that God never gives a person more than they can handle. And I say, bullshit to that.
