Gameface that’s a pretty damn tight PTS scored leaderboard. Essentially separated by one or two players having one big day or 6-7 players just scoring 2 more pts in 2-3 games.

While there is certainly luck (both ways) involved and things out of our control there’s plenty of things that we as managers do that make or break out seasons. Too much tinkering IMO is a big one, getting caught up in matchups of player vs D too much. Good players typically come through.

My philosophy is play my drafted starters for four weeks and reevaluate from there.

The grind is once bye weeks start and then the players wearing down added to that. Win early and often is my motto, can take a lot of stress off the middle part of the season.

Easier said than done. I had to adjust this year because I drafted a lot of under the radar rookies that needed time to blossom. And some guys that had upside if expected injuries came to pass, like Mason playing a lot when Aaron Jones inevitably missed time.

Gameface I’ve always felt someone drafting 11/12 in a 12 man snake has to do something during the draft to shake things up and change the landscape. Taking a player too early is usually one of those moves needed.
I’m convinced now after drafting first overall last year (7th this season) - and seeing your draft from the caboose position -that being 5-7 is best spot to draft from. Can grab a top 3 guy at any position early on and never have to wait almost a full round to make another pick.

Drake London is doubtful with a strained PCL, but the worse news is Penix is likely out for the year. The really shitty news is that Kurt fucking Cousins is the Atlanta back up.

It’s the problem with WRs, you have to worry about them getting hurt, but also worry about their QBs getting dinged. It’s not like there’s some late emerging talent on the waiver wire. Oh, Ridley was there, but he just broke his fibula.
If anybody needs an RB and has a reasonably effective WR, I migh be willing to part with Monangai, who’s got a decent floor as is and would have a lot of upside if Swift gets hurt again.

By my real measure of strength, there’s two better teams with shit W-L records due to unfortunate schedule.

IMO managing skills are 20% of the equation (and that to me is mostly just paying attention). Drafting probably 20-25%. Rest is largely out of our control.

Been busy with my new, exciting job in ICE. Still, I get to go to some great cities and get threatened by fantastic people who arent like me. Most are murderers and rapists, but some are nice.

I found the secret formula to fantasy football - winning. Good drafting? Meh… these players today drop like houses of stacked wet dogshit at the first pulled muscle. Running your team? Meh. I never can seem to get any points from players like BYE or AJ Brown for don’s sake.

Opponents? Meh. BigKing is a total cheater, GameFace has a huge gambling problem, and Iko has already had the Multiverse’s first perfect draft in the history of all time in every parallel dimension.
