If you watch the media event she did with the Epstein victims, you can see it resonated very deeply within her. I would be surprised if she wasn’t a victim herself of sexual assault when she was young.
Sometimes there are things that cause even the most die hard political partisans to question their self-imposed orthodoxy. I don’t know if she knows something we don’t yet know or if the accumulation of straws finally broke the camel’s back.
Regardless, in the end her quitting is an act of cowardice.
