I’m nothing if not consistent. I’m thunderstruck at the reversal and glad I’m wrong, and excuse me if I don’t trust this goes off without a class five trailer hitch.
And, the idea that I should be “glad” nobody else called me out? That’s a creative framing. Most people actually agreed with me at the time. Trumps relentless delay / deflect / distract plan was never unclear or subtle. Pretending the whole board expected some grand reveal beyond a recorded vote in the house is almost a Doctoral thesis on Revisionist History.
I do genuinely admire your confidence that Trump would pull a 180, flip the strategy, and push MJ and the Senate into handing the Dems a narrative win due to the pressure of the national narrative.
That’s the kind of certainty most people only find in religion or hooking up with a nurse on jello shot night at the bar.
